Good Bug, Better Bug Ad in Allergic Living Magazine

Good Bug, Better Bug Ad in Allergic Living Magazine

I was hired to create an ad that would be appropriate for a national magazine called Allergic Living. This magazine caters to those living with food allergies, environmental allergies, celiac disease and gluten sensitivity. Allergic Living is a quarterly magazine and the ad would run all year so it needed to be more of a general ad and not too specific. This campaign led to collateral web ads that are run on http://www.cleaningbusinesstoday.com

Turbo Espresso

Turbo Espresso

My task was to create a branding for a small espresso stand that hopes to grow itself into a small chain. The owners Dan & Denise wanted to change the existing logo to something that incorporated their love of cars...specifically Buick Grand Nationals. The challenge was still making it appealing to their coffee drinking, largely female clientele.  I incorporated the yellow and reddish orange that is the grand national colors with the warm coffee brown to lend the coffee feel and to soften the more sporty lines of the logo. Dan & Denise really wanted a turbo included into their concept so that was added to the "o" in turbo. Further detail was added by playing off of the angular properties of the turbo and adding those to the "T" in Turbo and drawing out the top of the T.  This help created a fresh modern logo that has a sporty feel but without that appeals to male and female coffee drinkers. This project has lead to stamp cards, promotional products, exterior signage, rubber stamps, t shirts.

She Matters

She Matters

Sheryl is a tri-athlete and is training for her first Ironman. Sheryl has a passion for helping women and she wanted a logo that promoted awareness for women's domestic violence and abuse. This campaign is still in the works for her but her hope is to race in her She Matters apparel to help that cause. Sheryl's favorite color is pink so we incorporated that into the logo. Purple is the color that is widely used in advertising women's domestic violence awareness so we combined the two colors. I then added in a casual yet feminine font, a cross element that she can add onto her t-shirts when desired, and a sporty fun flower.  Created in Adobe Illustrator.

Artwise Northwest

Artwise Northwest

Two busy artists hired me to whip up a logo for them because they were...well ..too busy. They were wanting to get their business off the ground. They wanted something organic and hand crafted looking that featured a owl. This wood cut looking owl was developed and then perched on a paintbrush. He was hand drawn in Adobe Illustrator and has been featured on their website, business cards and all promotional materials. The two artists also developed him further into a fun t-shirts that the kids can wear at their art camps and classes.
