About Me - The Nitty Gritty
I can remember being interested in art since I could put a crayon in my hand. I received high praise for the fish I drew. This carried into high school where I became serious about pursuing a career in art and graphics. My first college years were spent locally, at Edmonds Community College graduating in 1992 with an AAS degree. I then continued on at Seattle Central Community College, which was recognized for it’s art program, with a degree in graphic design graduating in 1994. Recently, I expanded my education to include web design and I freshened up my digital skills at the local college.
I love typography and I love fonts...can’t have enough! My favorite program is Illustrator, but I have experience in Photoshop, InDesign, Corel Painter, Dreamweaver, iMovie and Flash. I am married to a outstanding man and have two beautiful daughters. When not designing, I love to camp, read, take photos and garden. Enough about me, what can I create for you? I design logos, identity systems, business cards, and brochures.
